Peter Roberts is a contemporary British artist based in London.
His work explores themes of landscape, surface, palimpsest, ruin, memory and nostalgia. He draws inspiration from the ephemeral, the pathos of objects and the subtle splendour of decay. With these motifs Roberts seeks to make work that reflects on the beauty and impermanence of our world.
Peter has exhibited widely, with work shown in the UK, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Japan, and the United States. His work is held in numerous private collections.
Peter currently teaches Fine Art Printmaking at the University of the Arts London, alongside his artistic practice.
